Apple Picking is $15 per 1/2 bushel is available August 7th through November 6th. We will provide you a tote bag to pick into. If you want to divide up the apples among friends, then you may do so with plastic bags after passing through the check out area. We have pre-picked apples as well. Pumpkin Picking is $0.35 per pound for Jack-o-Lantern pumpkins. We have plenty of these through October 31st. Earlier in the season we have $1 for gourds & mini pumpkins, $3 each for small pie pumpkins, and $4 each per small white, warty, or multicolored pumpkin (not orange) and $8 for large speciality pumpkins. You may pick pumpkins in September and October. We have pumpkins right off the main path that you can take out of the field. We have pre-picked pumpkins as well all for the same price. Sunflower Cutting From late July through late September, five different colors of sunflowers are in the field and ready for some amazing photos! Cut a few flowers to take home. Take your photo with blooming sunflowers and for only $10 you can borrow pruners and a plastic half gallon jug to cut and take home six sunflowers or $2 each. You can bring your own pruners and bucket to cut flowers into. Peach Picking is August until September 8th. PEACHES can be picked fresh off the tree into a peck basket for $19.99. We have pre-picked conventional half bushel boxes, $34.99 or $1.99 per pound. We have two different peach orchards, organic and conventional. We have planted a new organic peach orchard that will allow us to offer more pick your own peaches in a few years. We have organic peaches for $2.99 per pound in the market or $39.99 per half bushel. Frozen peaches are available in the farm market August through November. Frozen peaches are available now. Blueberry Picking The price is $2.49 per pound which includes the use of our bucket and a bag to take them home. Picking is from Late July through August 19th. From August 19th-August 31st you can still walk to the blueberry patch and pick a few berries although picking is more scarce at this time. Frozen blueberries are available in the farm market August through November. EDIBLE Sunflower Cutting Thousands of sunflowers are ready to harvest for yummy seeds in mid-October to October 31st. For only $10 you can borrow pruners and take home six sunflower heads or $2 each. You can bring your own pruners. Take the seeds home and roast to enjoy. Also use these sunflowers for squirrel and bird feeders as is, no work required. Watch this short video to see how to have a fun, fall activity in preparing sunflower seeds for human consumption. TIP: You may bring your own little wagon to pull around the farm. We do provide some, but they may all be in use on a sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoon in October.
