***READ FIRST***before booking online. We are using a new system to help you reserve your date online. ENTER your SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION name along with the total number students/chaperones expected for this classroom in the field marked "Appointment notes". This is directly after you enter YOUR name. If you have multiple classrooms, then you will reserve additional appointments for every 50 people. For example, we can accommodate 200 people at once, but you will need four of the 30 minute appointments on our calendar. This will be four of the $40 deposits for each appointment. We will begin the four groups at the FIRST appointment scheduled. We will use text message &/or email to communicate with you. Thank you! ***READ ABOVE FIRST*** September & October: Apples & Pumpkins-age appropriate lesson about pollination and what goes on with apple trees during each of the four seasons. Also lesson on Solar Energy and how it is used on our farm. Older groups get extra content.

-The cost is $10 per person for adult, senior & bus tours. We offer a discounted rate of $7 per person for PreK-12th grade tours. -1 teacher/coordinator is free for every 20 paying participants. Chaperones and siblings on a K-12 tour are given the $7 discounted rate. -We can accept CASH or CARDS for the payment on the day of the tour. Personal checks are NOT accepted, but school & organizational checks are accepted. -Tours take 1.5-2 hours depending on the ages and number of people. -Always dress for the weather. Our wagons have a roof and we can still conduct the tour on a rainy day. -Boots are a good idea for the pumpkin patch, but you can choose to get a pre-picked pumpkin or apple if needed. *TEACHER TIP: Bring Preprinted Labels with the children's names on them. This is an easy way to apply names to children's bags (you will receive bags at the orchard for picking) and help the children keep track of them. |
